A heart for worship
For over six years, I suffered persistent vocal injuries that affected my ability to sing, speak normally, interact socially with others, and serve God in the way I wished to. The struggle to use my vocal cords—something so central to worship, communication, and life—was painful, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It was a season of waiting, pruning, learning, unlearning, and ultimately trusting God despite the unrelenting challenges. Thankfully, I am now recovering and relearning to sing one step at a time. Nothing is wasted, and I cherish the gift to reveal the great God through my little imperfect instrument (my voice)—we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7 KJV).
I write simple, heartfelt worship songs for both congregational and personal devotion. My heart is to raise an altar of worship through sound—releasing acceptable worship offerings that usher in God's holy presence to encounter people, leading them to respond naturally by worshipping Him genuinely and passionately. Indeed, before the throne of the Father, there’s no pretending and nothing artificial—it’s heart to heart, spirit to spirit. True worship is sincere and transformative, and draws man into deeper intimacy with God.
Most of my songs are written spontaneously, as the Holy Spirit inspires in different ways, but I always contend for scriptural accuracy in everything I produce. In these moments—whether alone or on a stage—I seek to capture sounds and words that carry our hearts to God and, in return, hear those that reflect His very own, inviting us into genuine and deeper communion with Him. This is what I live for.

PS: I am grateful that God has given me the privilege lately of singing in choirs with renowned gospel artists, including Getty Music (writers of In Christ Alone), Chris Tomlin, Michael W. Smith, Shane & Shane, CityAlight, Sovereign Grace Music, Matt Redman, Matt Boswell, Matt Papa, Laura Story, and more, at some iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall in NYC and Opryland in Nashville. Like many of us, these artists have blessed me tremendously with their songs, and it feels surreal that I had the privilege to rehearse, meet, and sing on the same stage with them.
